Responsible for revenue cycle reporting and management, accountability, integrity, accuracy, direct supervision, and control of the state/regulatory data, recurring reports, and ad hoc analysis.
Responsible for the reporting of trends and KPIs in addition to the development and maintenance of dashboards, work queues, and the administration of internal communication tools.
Monitor revenue departments’ adherence to charge reconciliation processes and metrics measured by key performance indicators.
Develop tools to track and identify potential areas of lost revenue.
Coordinates the charge audit process by entering charge capture data into tracking tools and analyzes audit findings for improved opportunities.
Collaborates with key constituents in different functional areas to create charge and billing reports that meet the organization’s requirements and trains individual departments on how to properly generate reports.
Monitor national, state, and local information to keep current with applicable regulatory and legislative changes, and communicate potential revenue or workflow impacts to key internal stakeholders in a timely manner.

Demonstrates the ability to communicate and work with a variety of roles and seniorities across the organization, operate effectively in stressful situations, and resolve conflicts.

Education/License/Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of healthcare related experience plus Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field.
Master’s Degree with emphasis in Business, Finance or Healthcare preferred.
More than 5 years of related work experience may be considered in lieu of education requirements.
Working Knowledge of: Medical Billing and Hospital Revenue Cycle; Charge Capture Processes; HCPCS, CPT4, ICD-10 coding, Modifiers, Revenue Codes, CCI edits preferred.
Medical Terminology; Basic Human Anatomy; Hospital EMR Systems; & Clinical Documentation Practices required.
High mathematical acumen, ability to access and assimilate data, and articulate a strong case for a recommended course of action required.
