As a Banking Specialist (Treasury), you will play a critical role in managing the company’s banking relationships and financial service providers.
This position reports directly to the Banking Team Lead.
In this role, you will be the key point of contact for the company's banks and financial institutions, responsible for nurturing these partnerships and negotiating favourable terms and pricing.
You will have a solid understanding of banking and financial service needs and stay on top of industry trends and developments.
Your strong communication skills and analytical abilities will enable you to expand banking relationships, resolve issues, and identify opportunities to optimise the company's banking activities.
Your challenges
Manage day-to-day interactions and relationships with partner banks.
Handle forms and due diligence documentation required to open and maintain bank accounts.
Analyse pricing and prepare supporting data to negotiate favourable terms on banking products.
Track usage and maintain records on bank contracts, pricing, and terms.
Prepare reports and presentations on banking activities and relationships.
Participate in business reviews, taking meeting notes and action items.
Research financial products and industry trends to identify opportunities.
Provide support during RFP and contract renewal processes with banks.
Resolve issues and address requests from banks in a timely manner.
Assist with audits and ad-hoc projects as needed.
What you have
1-3 years experience in corporate banking, treasury, or a similar role
Good understanding of cash management, treasury, and banking products
Attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, analytical skills and critical thinking with the ability to work on multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong interpersonal skills and the capability to work with all levels of personnel with a high degree of integrity and maturity
Proficient in Microsoft 365 or other common productivity software
Passion for learning about banking and treasury
Possess a can-do attitude with an eagerness to learn and develop your career
Excellent spoken and written communication skills
