Job Description Summary:
This position is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the ancillary and support services for assigned area(s).
Provides leadership oversight for the development of high quality, cost effective and integrated programs.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a business or healthcare related field required.
Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years’ leadership experience required.
Minimum of five (5) years’ hospital/ancillary experience required.
Possess knowledge of critical access and rural healthcare systems preferred.
Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

Serves as a resource to help reduce costs, enhance revenues, achieve effective utilization, quality goals and objectives, analyzes and utilizes information to develop and support leadership decisions.
Communicates key information to stakeholders with respect to managed care, marketplace needs, the competitive environment, cost management, and customer-focused services.
Develops, maintains and reviews policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of assigned area(s).
Participates in surveys (inspections) by authorized government agencies.
Assists in facility management action planning and strategic planning, as requested.
Assists in recruitment activities with Human Resources and retention measures.
Prepare and manage the departmental budgets for areas of responsibility.
Keeps abreast of facility economic conditions and work environment in order to coordinate services.

Schedule: Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
