Job Description
We are looking for an experienced People and Culture Manager to join our company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and programs related to the fantastic people that work in our organisation.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Collaboration: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including senior management and department leaders, ensuring HR strategies align with business goals;
Talent Management: Develop and oversee multiple end-to-end talent strategies, ensuring they address the different companies’ and business units’ needs and reflect the diverse talent pool; this includes facilitating talent management processes such as recruitment, retention, employee development, succession planning and performance management;
Data-Driven Decision-Making: Collate, analyse and use HR metrics to provide insights, guidance and recommendations for data-driven decision-making, and define strategic interventions;
Change Management: Guide and support leadership, management and teams through organizational changes by communicating effectively, managing resistance and ensuring smooth transitions that prioritize employee-centricity and uptake;
Diversity and Inclusion: Actively promote and embed diversity and inclusion initiatives, ensuring a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion, belonging and respect;
Continuous Learning: Champion, drive and implement continuous learning and development programmes and opportunities for employees at all levels within the Group of Companies;
Employee Relations: Serve as a reference point for employee and resolving any employee relations issues with discretion, fairness, and in line with company values.
Qualifications
Have a tertiary degree or post-graduate degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field
Skills & Experience
Have 4+ years of experience in HR, with proven experience in a leadership or managerial role in developing and implementing HR strategies
Have sound knowledge of local Employment law
Personal Characteristics
Have the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of individuals and foster an inclusive environment
Have the ability to adapt to new challenges quickly
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills
Be fluent in spoken and written English and Maltese
