As a Hotel Assistant General Manager, you will:
perform duties to effectively assist the General Manager will all property operations in accordance with Town Pump and brand operational standards.
interact with guests, co-workers, and management in a courteous, professional manner.

maintain a professional business image while representing the company.
complete all required company and brand specific training and/or certifications in a timely manner.
model and supervise staff’s guest service and hospitality practices.
assist the General Manager with hiring, training, performance management, conflict resolution, discipline, and termination of team members as required.
demonstrate and communicate an understanding of profitability.
assist the General Manager in daily operations to include but not limited to: balance cash and credit card prior to close of shift, oversee order and maintenance of inventory control, ensure secure room and master key control at all times, oversee daily and preventive maintenance program, ensure property as attractive curb appeal and exterior cleanliness, oversee groups, meetings and special events to ensure top-level customer service and repeat business, assist in scheduling staff, assist in responding to guest reviews and maintaining online reputation management; assist with sales effort at the hotel to include outside sales calls, finding sales leads internally as well as externally, attending community events such as Chamber Meetings and assisting Regional Director of Sales with ongoing sales efforts.
report all known issues with services, equipment, and property; ensure work orders are in place.
practice safe working conditions for all employees and guests under Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines to include Bloodborne Pathogens.
maintain familiarity will all emergency procedures regarding accident, fire, bomb threats, phone, internet, security, and illness of guests.
assume responsibility in any department where heavy workload exists, completes the General Manager’s duties in his/her absence.
maintain high level of confidentiality of employee, guest, and company information per Town Pump expectations.
