Overview:
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support and research for multiple tasks of the Primary Care Department.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support for the Primary Care Department to include, but not limited to, the following:
Assists with general correspondence, memoranda, surveys, applications, scheduling appointments, meeting minutes, and testing
Handles requests for assistance and potential questions; provides information and clarification
Orders supplies for school and maintains inventories
Fields all phone requests
Assists with letters and coordinates processing
Assists with preparation of class schedules and practical exams
Coordinates administration of testing, including scheduling of standardized patients, and grading faculty
Takes minutes for assigned Committee Meetings.
Assists with reports and maintains records
Compiles and tabulates statistical information, including grading
Provides liaison between departments, students, standardized patients, physicians, and any related parties
Performs special projects and assignments as requested by Department Chair(s).
Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
