Job Title - Sportsbook Manager
Reports To – VP of iGaming
Location – Malta / EU Remote - (only applicants within the EU time zone will be considered)
Overview
As the Sportsbook Manager, you play a pivotal role in our organization by managing and strategizing our online sportsbook and esports betting product portfolio across multiple brands.
Your responsibilities include overseeing every aspect of our sportsbook product, from strategic planning, product development, and marketing initiatives to customer engagement strategies, operational optimization, trading/odds management, and risk mitigation.
Your contribution to this influential role will be instrumental in driving the growth and prosperity of these products.

Responsibilities Define and execute the strategic vision for the sportsbook and esports product, collaborating with executive leadership to align with overall goals.
Oversee product development, prioritizing new features and user experience improvements while collaborating with the product development team.
Play a vital role in marketing and promotion, working closely with the marketing team to create campaigns and partnerships.
Plan and execute advertising campaigns and negotiate sponsorship deals with esports teams and events to increase brand visibility.
Oversee day-to-day operations, including odds management, risk assessment, and regulation compliance.
Build and maintain relationships with VIP customers, implementing VIP customer retention programs.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, continuously monitoring betting activity and adjusting trading strategies.
Act as the point of contact for escalations, collaborating with third-parties and other departments for issue resolution.
Analyze customer feedback to improve the user experience, implement responsible gambling measures, and address customer issues.
Build and lead a high-performing team, providing coaching and guidance to foster excellence.
Typical Day-to-Day Activities: Morning Meeting: Start the day with a team meeting to discuss key priorities, operational updates, and emerging issues.
Market Analysis: Analyze sports betting and esports markets to identify opportunities and potential risks.
Adjust odds and betting options as necessary.
Customer Engagement: Review customer feedback, betting data, and customer support reports to address issues, improve user experiences, and tailor marketing strategies.
Risk Management: Monitor betting activity to identify unusual patterns and adjust trading strategies to mitigate risks.
VIP Customer Interaction: Spend time interacting with VIP customers, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring they receive personalized service.
Product Development: Work with the product development team to discuss upcoming features, enhancements, and improvements to the sportsbook and esports product.
Compliance Check: Ensure the product complies with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Escalation Handling: Address any escalations from various iGaming divisions promptly and effectively.
Team Management: Provide guidance and support to the sportsbook and esports team, encouraging collaboration and excellence.
End-of-Day Review: Review daily performance metrics, financial results, and customer engagement data.
Marketing Planning: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute advertising campaigns, promotions, and sponsorship activities.
The Sportsbook Manager's role is multi-faceted, requiring a blend of strategic thinking, operational oversight, marketing acumen, risk management, and customer-focused approaches to ensure the success of the sportsbook and esports product within the iGaming operation.
Requirements Bachelor's degree or experience in a related field (business, marketing, or sports management preferred).
Proven experience in online sportsbook and esports management, with a track record of success in the online gambling industry.
Strong knowledge of sports betting markets, odds setting, and risk management.
Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
Effective leadership and team management abilities.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and responsible gambling practices.
