Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview A registered nurse provides comprehensive care to patients and assists doctors and physicians in providing patient treatment.
They have the capacity to practice independently or under the supervision of a doctor, physician assistant, surgeon or another licensed physician within a health care setting.
Essential Job Functions Providing the necessary care for patients Record patient medical history Administer medications based on conditions and symptoms Take patient vitals and start IVs for patients Guarantee patient confidentiality is kept intact Act as a liaison for patients and the families of patients Monitoring the care that patients receive Offering assistance that is in the best interest of the patient Interceding for patients in situations that require action immediately Other Duties as assigned
