POSITION OVERVIEW:
Fill orders with accuracy; check technician prepared products before release.
Maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances.
Enter orders and patient information with accuracy.
Aid in the training of new staff.
Update the Director about daily activities of the pharmacy.
Aid the Director in maintaining pharmacy.
Reports to Director of Pharmacy.
SHIFT:
7 on 7 off - Day Shift
EDUCATION:
Graduate of a college of Pharmacy, required.
Doctor of Pharmacy degree, preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
One - two years of hospital pharmacy experience, preferred.
Hospital pharmacy residency, preferred.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:
Current Montana licensed Pharmacist, required.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Drug knowledge base including pharmacokinetics dosing and nutritional support, required.
Working computer knowledge, required.
Effective communication skills, verbal and written, required.
Repetitive use of hands and fingers (i.
e.
use of computer keyboard) and labeling containers, required.
Repetitive tasks are often performed with one hand only
Normal range of hearing and vision to perform work and communicate, required.
Verbal and written communication, required.
Extended periods of standing and walking, required.
