```Duties```
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist with medical procedures, such as wound care and catheterization
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records
- Monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care
- Provide support and comfort to patients and their families
```Requirements```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program
- Current certification as a nursing assistant (CNA)
- Experience in providing patient service and caregiving in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of medical documentation procedures and practices
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems (e.
g.
, eClinicalWorks, Epic)
- Understanding of different care settings, such as hospice care, acute care, and behavioral health
