Job Description:
Hire and oversee bat boys for all home games.
Clubhouse Manager Room needs to be kept neat and orderly.
No food or dirty dishes should be left out.
Doing laundry for the Voyagers and the Umpires.
Laundry to include uniforms, towels, and personal items.
Cleaning clubhouses for home, visitors, and umpires.
Empty trash daily.
Vacuum home team, trainer’s room, visiting team, umpire, hallway, weight room, and coaches’ room daily.
Sweep and mop shower/bathroom areas daily.
Scrub coaches and players showers.
Make sure all sinks and toilets are cleaned daily.
Oversees team uniforms
Keeps an accurate inventory of uniforms.
Arranges for repair of uniforms.
Orders new uniform items, with the approval of Front Office.
Manages team equipment
Keeps an accurate inventory of equipment that is received
Manages an accurate inventory of bats and balls that are used and completes report at the end of season.
Feed the team - pregame and post game meals, and spreads
Meal should be ready no later than two hours prior to start of game.
Ensure meal area is cleaned after each use.
Ensures umpires have everything that they need
Deliver five dozen baseballs, ball bag, and rubbing mud to umpire locker room, no later than 2 ½ hours before the scheduled start of the game.
Arrange for post-game meal for the umpire crew with concession manager, and deliver meal to umpires.
Serves as Clubbie for the Visiting Team
Ensure the visiting team has enough clean towels
Keep team informed of any delays
Working with Front Office Staff and coaching staff and keeping them informed
Serves as a liaison between the front office and Coaches to schedule player/coach appearances.
