The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Disability Services, Developmental Disabilities Program Community Services.
This position oversees the delivery of contracted services provided to persons with developmental disabilities.
Key responsibilities include: 1) Directing and implementing quality assurance activities; 2) Approving or denying changes to individual cost plans for all recipients; and 3) Managing the budget and ensuring expenditures are within the regional budget allocation.
This position directly supervises eight staff.

Qualifications for this Career Opportunity
Knowledge of developmental disabilities treatment, trends, and rehabilitation.
Knowledge of the basic principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
Knowledge of cost allocation principles, budgeting, and contract processes.
Ability to supervise and motivate staff.
Meet minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, public administration, business, or human services related field.
Five years job-related experience working in the developmental disabilities field.
Two years of supervisory experience.
Other combinations of directly related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

This position may be eligible for partial telework within the state of Montana.
Specific conditions will be provided by the supervisor and must adhere to state policy.
This position may be eligible for a statutory $1.
50 an hour base pay increase effective July 1, 2024.

Training Assignment: This agency may use a training assignment.
Employees in training assignments may be paid below the base pay established by the agency pay rules.
Conditions of the training assignment will be stated in writing at the time of hire.
