*Responsibilities:*
* Build, maintain, and continuously improve the compliance management system by establishing policies, procedures, controls, and reporting and training staff on them.
* Build, maintain, and continuously improve the quality management system by establishing policies, procedures, controls, and reporting and training staff on them (either directly or by supporting individual departments).
* Build, maintain, and continuously improve the environmental health and safety system by establishing policies, procedures, controls, and reporting and training staff on them.
* Verify that all regulatory, quality, and EHS policies and procedures have been documented, implemented, and communicated, are being followed, and are effective and efficient.
* Resolve any compliance, quality, and EHS gaps and issues.
* Lead the Environmental Health and Safety Committee.
* Investigate accidents and health-related complaints to identify causes and determine how such issues might be prevented in the future.
* Maintain documentation of compliance, quality, and EHS activities.
* Identify and communicate emerging compliance, quality, and EHS issues.
* Act as point of contact for 3rd party vendors and auditors.
* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements and customer requirements by studying existing and new requirements, anticipating future requirements, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing reports, and advising management on needed actions.
*Skills:*
* Strong manufacturing compliance acumen with a deep understanding of principles and practices.
* Proficiency in MS Office software systems
* Experience with data analysis
* Knowledge of technical standards and ability to apply them in practice
* Experience with AS9100 or ISO9000 is a plus
* Experience with NIST 800-171 is a plus
* Familiarity with governmental compliance regulations is a plus
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in understanding laws and regulations
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
