We are looking for an elementary K-8 Special Education teacher who currently holds a Special Education Degree or will have one by the 2024 - 2025 school year.

Your school year will follow the four-day school week calendar.
Qualification:
* This Position requires a Current Class 1 or 2 Montana Educator’s license with proper endorsements.
* The ability to plan and implement lessons based on state standards and school objectives as well as the needs and abilities of students to whom assigned
* The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, parents, and school community
* The ability to be flexible in scheduling and planning
* The ability to handle stressful situations
* The ability to maintain confidentiality of student information
* The ability to effectively use technology in the instructional/learning process
* The ability to work with a variety of grade levels and subject areas
* The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Responsibilities:
* Plan and implement an approved program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students
* Establish and maintain standards of pupil behavior required to provide an orderly and productive learning environment
* Develop instructional plans and organize class time to provide a balanced program of differentiated instruction, guided practice, and independent practice
* Build an open relationship with parents, providing them with progress reports of their child; Communicate regularly with the parents within the normal school day by means of phone calls, conferences, emails, notes, newsletters, etc.
* Collaborate with staff and administration to improve academic, behavioral, and social outcomes
* Other duties and responsibilities may be required a given or assigned.
