*Job Summary**:*
Great Falls Central Catholic High School is a private, Roman Catholic high school in Great Falls, Montana and is one of three Catholic high schools in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Great Falls-Billings.
A diocesan college preparatory school, Great Falls Central Catholic High School is committed to developing academic excellence in a Christ-centered community that strengthens leadership and service to others.
Great Falls Central Catholic High School is a Class C, fully state accredited, high school with a newer facility, 9 sports teams (Mustangs), a full-time principal and counselor.
The school consists of small classes, an international student program, supportive parents and searching for teachers who want to educate the “whole student”.
Coaches do not have to be Catholic to work at this school but must be willing to support the mission of the school and basic Catholic doctrine.
Volleyball season will run from MHSA start date in August through November postseason play.
*Duties:*
Develop the GFCCHS Girls Volleyball Program.
Complete all required certifications as per NFHS/MHSA/GFCC.
Assure all policies set by the Montana High School Association, District 8C, Northern Class C Division, Great Falls/Billings Catholic Diocese, the Administration of Great Falls Central Catholic High School, and the Director of Athletics at GFCCHS are strictly adhered to.
Provide positive instruction to student participants in fundamental skills, strategy and training while obtaining a degree of individual and team success.
Assure student-athletes receive instruction that will lead to the formulation of Catholic teachings, moral values, academic excellence, exceptional sportsmanship, pride of accomplishment, acceptable school behavior, self-discipline, and self-confidence.
Oversee and conduct regular season practices, help facilitate summer lifting/practice, summer youth camps/team camps, attend MCA Clinics and manage inventory of all equipment/uniforms.
Coordinate with administration to schedule postseason awards/banquet.
Reports cases of suspected child abuse according to state law.
Maintain a neat, professional appearance.
Assure all student athletes meet all required academic expectations for participation.
Participate in faculty meetings.
*Requirements**:*
Bachelor’s degree in physical education or related field preferred.
Minimum of two years’ successful coaching experience preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge and application of volleyball coaching fundamentals.
Must have strong oral/written communication and presentation skills.
Be outgoing and possess excellent organizational skills.
