Yoga Instructor

\*Yoga instructors must have at minimum their 200 RYS certification through Yoga Alliance (or other credible source- pending review)\* Instructors will guide students to connect to their breath, body, and positive wellbeing in a new state-of-the-art facility equipped with the ability to lead warm or hot (up to 104 degrees) yoga classes.
Applicants must have experience creating curriculum and leading groups of practicing yogis through various levels of yoga practice.
All habit, yoga instructors will have the flexibility to craft yoga classes that fit their personal style.
While vinyasa flow is encouraged to remain at the heart of each class, instructors have the freedom to incorporate aspects of their own design.
Instructors will demonstrate practice and technique by using their body and verbal cues to show the correct way to get into poses and breathing patterns.
Instructors must be knowledgeable in providing modifications to students for a personalized yoga experience.
Awareness of safe yoga practice for all students is critical of each instructor.
As an instructor, physical fitness and yoga knowledge is an important aspect of leading students.
Instructors must be in adequate physical shape to demonstrate technique and offer instruction at advanced levels.
Instructors must have excellent communication for explaining how to move the body and what the movement should feel like for students.
Further, communication must also embrace strong motivational skills.
Yoga can pose both physical and mental struggles.
It is the responsibility of the yoga instructor to encourage and support practicing yogis to safely challenge them.
