*Summary: *
The purpose of the Guest Services is to create an environment where guests feel at home, safe, and their hospitality needs meet.
Guest Services are to provide superior customer service and operate the hotel to assure the highest possible level of guest satisfaction while looking at the best business practice for the hotel.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES: *
· Provide excellent customer service to all guests, review GRI scores on a regular basis to learn how we can improve our commitment to our guests.
· Assist in training new team members as well as continue training to improve system knowledge.
· Follow all policies and procedures set forth by management, brand guidance, as well as Management Company.
· Work with other department teams to ensure guest satisfaction, safety, and best practices for the hotel.
At times needing to step into other departments to assist in finishing a task.
· Respond to all guest requested in a timely manor.
· Keep track of all guest information, payment information, and other documents requested by management.
Use the systems required to stay successful.
· Other duties as assigned or as needed to create signature moments for our guests.
· Continue to keep work areas, lobby, and back of house clean and organized at all times.
*Position Requisites: *
· Knowledge of front office policies and procedures, reservations, accounts receivable (billing)
· Flexibility in order to be a team player and ensure the proper staffing at all times.
· Understanding of front office accounting,
· Ability to defuse a potential problem situation confidently.
· Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize well to meet deadlines
· Behaves with integrity, honesty and is open with guests and fellow associates
· Develops effective working relationship with fellow associates, managers, outside representatives and agencies
· There are times when you may have to deal with an unhappy person; you do need to know how to deal professionally, courteously and tactfully with the public and coworkers.
