As a Backend Developer, you will play a pivotal role in creating and enhancing the server-side infrastructure that forms the backbone of their ecosystem.
They are not merely seeking a coder but a visionary who can contribute to architectural decisions and shape the future of their technology stack.
Your Focus:
Participate in the entire application lifecycle, including development, testing, integrations, and review of platform and game servers in a Microservices environment.
Communicate effectively with clients to facilitate setup environments and integrations.
Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate game clients with the backend.
Utilize a version control system (Git/Bitbucket) to build and maintain pipelines for CI/CD.
Build and maintain infrastructure for the platform using Terraform.
Ensure continuous system documentation and conduct unit testing.
Assist DevOps with deploying and maintaining scalable infrastructure.
Work with automation tools to improve performance and deployment procedures.
Participate in the on-call rotation schedule for monitoring games.
Assist in the live studio basic machine maintenance and cleanliness.
Your Background:
Over 3 years of back-end experience, ideally within online gaming.
Good knowledge of Microservices and API design.
Knowledge in Go Lang would be preferable.
Knowledgeable about their tech stack including various software such as RabbitMQ, MySQL, Redis, Linux, Docker, etc.
Experience with AWS, SQL, GIT, and Terraform.
Experience with automated testing and dedication to building quality code.
