Position: Cook / Line Cook
Reports to: Head Chef, F&B Manager
Duties:
* Prepare food to exact specifications of restaurant
* Able to work in a fast paced environment, stay organized and act quickly and efficiently.
* Prep food items daily to chef specifications.
* Be consistent with portions, presentation and following recipes.
* Set up stations and restock items as needed.
* Clean and maintain line with good safety, sanitation and organization.
Assist team with maintaining and cleaning entire kitchen and food storage areas.
* Know how to use and maintain all kitchen equipment.
* Be flexible concerning shift hours and ability to fill in when and where needed.
* Report any accidents or incidents following proper procedures and help with follow-up and future prevention.
KEY TRAITS: We are seeking a year round, full or part time cook/line cook.
MUST BE RELIABLE, have transportation to and from job site, and have ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Schedule requires weekend work with occasionally being scheduled off on weekends.
Job requires standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 30lbs, and full use of hands, arms and legs.
Cook must not be dependent on any addicitve substances, nor work while under the influence of such.
Full/Part time opportunities depending on qualifications.
