Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for children of various ages
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as educational games, crafts, and outdoor play
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
- Prepare meals and snacks for children, taking into account any dietary restrictions or preferences
- Assist with homework and school assignments
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children
- Follow parents' instructions regarding routines, schedules, and discipline
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's activities, progress, and any concerns
Experience:
- Previous experience in childcare, such as babysitting or working in a daycare or preschool setting
- Knowledge of infant care and toddler development
- Ability to engage children in educational and stimulating activities
- Experience working with multiple children at once
- Familiarity with basic first aid procedures
Skills:
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Organizational skills to manage schedules and activities for multiple children
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and routines
