Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team.
As a Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
This is a key leadership role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders.
Duties:
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial operations and office personel, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Conduct regular account analysis to identify variances and trends
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support for decision-making
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities
- Stay updated on industry trends, financial concepts, and technical accounting standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
- CPA certification is strongly preferred
- Proven experience as a Controller or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
- Proficient in using accounting software (VeiwPoint/Vista Knowlege a Plus, Sage Depreciation Software and Global Insight Spreadsheets) and MS Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills to present financial information to stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
