*About us* Due to the retirement of a long-term office employee, Taylors Auto Max GMC Nissan has an immediate opening for an experienced accounting professional.
The accounting office is the heartbeat of this local family auto business, and this position is critical to all operations in all departments.
The ideal candidate will have a formal accounting education or substantial experience in all accounting principles.
Upward mobility within the company is a real potential for the right, proven and dedicated individual.
This is a high responsibility position with pay reflective of this, dependent on the skills, education and experience of the candidate.
To ensure a smooth and organized transition, our new hire will receive 1 on 1 training for up to 4 months or as needed during the onboarding phase.

Primary Duties -Process all Nissan and GMC warranty paperwork and documentation -Reconcile all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule -Resubmit all rejected claims promptly or receives authorization to write them off -Follow up on payment of outstanding claims -Process 1099’s annually -Computer input of used vehicles Secondary Duties -Reconciles and deposits service and parts receipts, including charge cards, daily.
-Prepares account receivable statements monthly -Inputs new vehicle into computer system as directed by office manager -Reports sold Nissan and GMC units through factory reporting system -Reconciles select accounts monthly -Prepare accounts payable checks -Prepares daily bank deposit and cash report -Manages payoff of vehicle floor plan -Fills in for other administrative positions as needed and directed by management.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $60,000.
