POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsible for assisting with directing of the fiscal functions of the Great Falls Clinic, GFC Hospital and Surgery Center.
Responsible for assisting with the treasury and controllership functions, financial management responsibilities, preparing/presenting financial reports, preparation and administration of the annual budge, corporate financial policies.
Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule; facilitate and complete monthly close procedures; analyze revenues and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis; prepare monthly account reconciliations; assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances and assist with financial and tax audits.
Gives direction to: Accounting department.
Receives direction from: Controller.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, required
EXPERIENCE:
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
Two (2) years of progressive experience in Accounting and Healthcare industry, preferred.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:
CHFP certification, preferred.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Ability to evaluate & analyze financial & similar Data.
Ability to creatively solve problems and issues.
Ability to interact and communicate with other staff, management, patients, providers, and other business contacts.
Ability to tolerate stress, particularly as it relates to a sometime hectic works schedule with multiple deadlines.
