Accounting/Administrative Assistant Departments: Accounting Reports To: Controller FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Job Summary: This position is responsible for assisting Accounts Receivable/Payable, Purchasing, along with administrative duties.
The successful candidate should possess a strong foundation in accounting practices, organizational and communication skills, professionalism and attention to detail and accuracy.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Process daily Accounts Receivable.
Daily financial reconciliation of payments.
Daily Accounts Payable, Purchasing and Receiving duties as directed.
Complete monthly bank reconciliations.
Daily mail collection, sort and distribution.
Document scanning, uploading and archiving to appropriate systems.
General administrative duties: answering phones, greeting guests, correspondence as directed.
Reports any suspicious activity or concerns regarding financial matters, employee safety and security.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Controller.
Qualifications and Requirements: Follow all company policies and procedures.
Demonstrated history in performing the job duties and responsibilities above.
Advanced capabilities with MS Office programs Knowledge of SAP or similar financial management software Ensure accuracy of numbers and written documentation Obtain and maintain a valid Montana driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Be able to sit, stand and work for extended periods of time in an office environment.
Physical effort/lifting, up to 20 pounds.
Communicate effectively, courteously, and professionally at all times.
Complete and accurate work habits, ability to work under time constraints and deadlines.
Maintain confidentiality of all Company business and ensure data security practices are followed.
Satisfactorily pass a background and reference check.

Education/Experience: Any combination equivalent to the following education and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities would qualify.
Preferred: Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, bookkeeping or similar, and at least two years in an accounting, bookkeeping, or an administrative position.
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent and demonstrated work history of at least three years in an accounting, bookkeeping, or an administrative position.
