Summer Youth Development Professional

Youth Development Professionals typically start at $12 an hour and typically work Monday through Friday anywhere between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM.
Summer hours of operation are 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM on Fridays.
*\*\*\* Full-time and part-time positions available.
* *Though the position is hired on a temporary basis.
YDP's will potentially have the opportunity to be hired on for the school year program at the end of the summer, based on performance and full-year position availability.
\*\*\** *Responsibilities include:* * Facilitating activities in a program area (Education, Technology, Sports & Fitness, Arts & Crafts, Social Recreation, and Healthy Lifestyles) and during field trips * Provide guidance, role modeling, and positive discipline techniques to Club members * Monitor program areas to ensure Club member safety *We would love to see that you have:* * Experience in working with children * Knowledge of youth development * Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems * Ability to plan and implement quality programs for youth * Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment * CPR and First Aid Certifications *\*\*\* Must have a high school diploma or GED\*\*\** *\*\*\* Must be able to pass a background check\*\*\** Job Types: Part-time, Temporary Pay: From $12.
